BANNER REALITY

This week Donald Trump installed a massive banner of himself on the exterior of the Department of Justice building in Washington D.C. A DOJ spokesperson claimed the banner is celebrating the departments work to “Make America Safe Again,” under Trump’s excellent leadership.
Excuse me, but for the sake of reality, let me offer a different opinion: This is like placing a banner of Bernie Madoff on the New York Stock Exchange building, claiming, “Bernie will make our money safe again!”
While blocking every attempt to bring justice to women who were abused by Epstein and his colleagues in crime (which includes, you know who)—along with hundreds of other attempts to obstruct justice for people he has harmed (personally, professionally and politically); not to mention the unconstitutional harm to immigrants, police officers, murdered Americans and the on-going robbery of our national treasury —Trump is the personification of INJUSTICE (I would yell this at the top of my lungs, but the internet won’t allow it).
His banner is beyond perversion. He and his administration are trying to convince us Trump is a bastion of justice, the protector of our liberties, the man who will make women safe again?! Not only is this a criminal warping of reality, his banner is a disgusting display of arrogance and defiance: “I’ll claim to be your savior (while I stab you in the back), and if you aren’t stupid enough to believe me, I’ve got taxpayer dollars to support my narrative ... indefinitely (good luck, losers!)."
Trump’s on-going, banner-raising, reverse-reality campaign is predictable. If you haven’t noticed, here’s the Team Trump strategy: As Americans discover the truth, we tell them the opposite: Trump is a liar; “I’m a truth teller.” Trump is a misogynist; “I love women and would never harm them.” Trump is a Con Man; “I am the most honest person in the world.” Trump obstructs justice; “I’ll put a banner on the DOJ building.”
It's like looking at banana and exclaiming, "Look, a banana." In response, Team Trump yells, "That's NOT a banana, it's an apple."
Next banner up? Once a war starts with Greenland, Iran, NATO—or name a country who criticizes Trump—we’ll see a nice big Trump banner on the Pentagon, stating, “I’m the Greatest Peacemaker Ever.”
Trumps message is clear: "I am America's god, and I will decide what is right and wrong, good or bad … and I will shove this message down your throats until you believe it.”
We would do well to heed the other God: “Whoever says to the wicked, 'You are in the right,' will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them." Proverbs 24:24-25.
